WebSMS is a universal client to send free SMS messages through carriers' web sites in a convenient way.

Aren't you tired of opening the web browser, clicking through dozens of redundant pages, filled with useless informations and graphics, digiting the recipient's number by hand, before actually sending an SMS? How many free SMS you didn't send just because it was damn boring?

WebSMS is just what you were waiting for! Select your carrier, enter your username and password and regain access to all the free SMS you deserve. You don't even need to enter the recipient's phone number because WebSMS retrieves all your friends' mobile numbers from your Address Book. Just choose a friend from the contacts list!

WebSMS already supports several national and international carriers (see a list of available plugins). Thanks to its modular interface, everyone can write a plugin to make it work with an unsupported carrier.

WebSMS currently comes as a Dashboard Widget for Mac OS X, but a Konfabulator widget is also under development, and a Java MIDlet version is planned as well.
